CASA de MouRAZ

Dao, Portugal

Dão, Portugal

The story of Casa de Mouraz is the story of Sara Dioniso and António Ribiero, who first met in Lisbon when Sara was a dancer and António was the editor of an arts & culture magazine.

António was born at Mouraz, in the heart of the Dão, on a property which his family has farmed for generations.  The property is incredibly diverse, with forests of oak, pine, chestnut, and cork interspersed with old & new vine plantings, shifting soils of granite and clay, and altitudes ranging from 150-400m.  They organically & biodynamically farm thirteen hectares of various grapes (4 white and 5 red varieties).
